Chalcedony ranges in color from white to grey, greyish-blue, or brown ranging from pale to nearly black and has a waxy luster, and may be semitransparent or translucent. Varieties of Chalcedony include Agate, Carnelian, Aventurine, Jasper, Onyx, Bloodstone, Tiger Eye, Sardonyx, and Chrysoprase. Many Native American tribes use it for sacred ceremonies and named it a “stone of brotherhood” because it brings energies of loving kindness and goodwill to all.
