Out of the Greek gods, Persephone had one of the more unusual domain origin stories. The Bronze Persephone Statue celebrates the queen of the underworld. Made of cold cast bronze, this hand-painted figure depicts the goddess standing on a desolate platform. The platform reads PERSEPHONE. Next, she wears a pink gown. She holds a pomegranate in her left hand. Then, in her right hand is a bundle of grain, referencing her mother Demeter, and three skulls. Additional skulls rest at her feet.
